Zhaslan Madiyev

Zhaslan is currently working for Binance as the General Manager for Kazakhstan. Prior to joining Binance, he worked for Kazakhstani Government and agencies as the First Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace, Deputy Minister of National Economy, Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms, Advisor to Prime Minister, Analyst at the President’s Executive Office and Deputy for Monetary Policy and Asset Management at the National Bank. Apart from public sector service Zhaslan has an extensive professional track record in investment banking and corporate sector. He served as the Head of Treasury at Samruk-Kazyna SWF, Deputy CEO of Development Bank of Kazakhstan, Director at Morgan Stanley Investment Bank and CFO at National Railways Company. He chaired the boards of various national corporates.

Zhaslan holds MBA degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and MPA degree from Columbia University.
