Vishal Sacheendran​

With a professional experience spanning nearly 20 years, Vishal Sacheendran joined Binance in February 2022 and currently serves as the Head of Regional Markets, overseeing a vast territory including MEASA, Europe, APAC, CEE and LATAM. Leveraging his deep understanding of the regulatory landscape and capacity for strategic planning, he directs government relations, regulatory licensing initiatives, and regional expansion operations. Before joining Binance, Vishal spent close to 7 years at the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) as the Capital Markets Authorisation Senior Manager. His responsibilities involved authorizing intermediaries such as fund managers, asset managers, crypto asset brokers, and custodians into ADGM, as well as leading ADGM’s Regulatory Laboratory (RegLab). Prior to his tenure at ADGM, Vishal was a part of the Global Client Management team with Bank of New York Mellon for a span of 6 years. As the regional compliance lead, he oversaw the bank’s clients in the MEA region. Vishal, a finance industry veteran, is also an alumnus of the University of Houston, Clear-Lake, where he earned his BSc in Finance.
