Sudip Biswas is the Deputy Chief Investment Officer at Tokio Marine Asset Management International Pte Ltd based in Singapore and the lead portfolio manager for all Asia ex Japan Equity strategies managed by the Tokio Marine Asset Management ( group Sudip joined the investment industry in 2006 and has acted as regional portfolio manager since 2011

Sudip’s 16 years’ experience encompasses Asia ex Japan equity markets across long only and absolute return strategies Before joining TMAM group in 2019 he was a portfolio manager with Kiara Advisors, a hedge fund part of Korea Investment Holdings Prior to that Sudip held portfolio management and investment analyst roles in Lazard Asset Management, Aviva Investors and Arjava Capital wherein he played instrumental role in development and implementation of investment processes, strategies and portfolio construction He started his buy side career in 2007 at AllianceBernstein Before pursuing his management studies, he was an executive engineer with Larsen Toubro

Sudip holds a B Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology ( in Madras and is a management graduate from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad
