Jue Jun Lu is a Solicitor-Advocate in England and Wales, with nearly 15 years of experience in international arbitration and complex cross-border dispute resolution.
Originally from Shanghai, Jue Jun has particular expertise in resolving China-related disputes. She is named by The Legal 500 as a “Rising Star” in International Arbitration and has served as an Ambassador to the ICC’s Belt and Road Commission.
Jue Jun has acted in international arbitrations seated in London, Paris, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong and Beijing and administered under the rules of all of the major international arbitral institutions. She has extensive experience in multi-jurisdictional disputes, having successfully represented clients in complex matters involving Asian, African, and some offshore jurisdictions.
Jue Jun advises on disputes arising from a wide range of sectors including energy and natural resources, infrastructure, international trade, financial services, telecommunications, technology, aviation, aerospace, and defence. She brings to bear not only her rare skillset as an experienced, Mandarin-speaking, English lawyer and arbitration practitioner, but also substantial in-house experience gained from secondments at NatWest Bank Plc and ExxonMobil.
