Elvira Konakhbayeva

KonakbayevaElvira Bakhytovna completed her undergraduate studies in Economics at the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Strategic Research (KIMEP) in 2007. She furthered her professional development by obtaining certifications in Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Sustainable Development. She holds certificates from various organizations such as the Kazakh Association of Independent Directors, KIMEP, Accountability (UK), GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), and the IR Society (Investor Relations Society, UK).

In her role at KEGOC JSC, Konakbayeva Elvira Bakhytovna is responsible for driving innovation, technological development, energy efficiency improvement, research and development, rationalization, and inventiveness. She also oversees the company’s strategy, sustainable development, corporate governance, digitalization, and business process improvement.

From 2015 to 2022, Konakbayeva Elvira Bakhytovna held various positions at Samruk-Kazyna JSC, including Senior Manager and Director of the Corporate Governance Department. Since January 2022, she has been serving as the Managing Director of Strategy, Sustainable Development, and Digital Transformation at KEGOC JSC.
