Turkhan Ali Abdul Manap, Dr.

Dr. Turkhan Ali Abdul Manap (Alias Abudumanafu Tuerhanali) Joined as a Senior Research Economist at the Islamic Development Bank Institute (IsDBI) in Saudi Arabia in 2013. Before joining IsDBI, Dr. Turkhan was an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) for a decade, where he taught various economics-related subjects at Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. levels. Dr. Turkhan Ali has a wealth of expertise in macroeconomics, financial stability, and stress testing for Islamic financial institutions. He led the Islamic Finance country report project, a flagship report of the institute. He was also involved in various product development projects in the institute and technical assistance projects. Dr. Turkhan has also presented and participated in multiple international conferences and published research papers in academic journals. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the International Islamic University of Malaysia, an MBA in finance from The National University of Malaysia, and a Bachelor of Engineering from the Dalian University of Technology (DUT) in China.
