Almasbi Kamalov
Managing Director, Member of the Board of Samruk Energy
Almasbi Kamalov joined the Samruk-Energy JSC team in 2014, starting from the position of Senior Manager of the Planning and Economic Analysis Department, and since September 2023 he has been the Managing Director of the Company for Economics and Finance.
Previously, Mr. Kamalov held the positions of Deputy Head of the Planning and Economic Department at Ekibastuz SDPP-2 Station JSC (electric power industry) and Lead Economist of the Budget and Economic Analysis Department of Almaty Electric Stations JSC.
Education: Master of Business Administration at the University of Warwick (MBA) DLMBA. In 2010, he graduated from the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Forecasting (KIMEP) (Bachelor of Business Administration and Accounting). In 2018, he graduated with a degree in Finance from the University of Almaty.
