He has over 16 years of experience in the automotive industry, in particular, in the distribution of Subaru Kazakhstan, the distribution of Haval Motor Kazakhstan and in the management company Astana Motors.

Thanks to the high reputation of Astana Motors at the international level and the successful negotiations of Akylbek Anarbayev with leading Chinese automakers, since 2021 the Company’s portfolio has included the Haval, Chery, Changan, Tank auto brands of leading concerns Great Wall Motor, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd and Changan International Corporation. Based on the sales results of 2023 and seven months of 2024, three of these auto brands are in the Top 10 on the Kazakhstan market, and Chery is the leader among Chinese auto brands in the republic and occupies the fourth position in the top ten most popular auto brands in Kazakhstan.

Today, Akylbek represents Astana Motors in cooperation with Chinese partners. One of the key areas of the Company’s business development is NEV (transport on new energy sources, including electric cars (BEV) and plug-in hybrids (PHEV), as well as ECS (a network of electric charging stations for NEV in the Republic of Kazakhstan).
