Akshu Campbell-Holt

Head of Member Relations, World Alliance of International Financial Centers (WAIFC); and Vice President, Bitfinex Securities AIFC

Ms. Akshu Campbell-Holt is the Head of Member Relations at the World Alliance of International Financial Centers (WAIFC) which represents 28 financial centres globally. She is also the Vice President of Bitfinex Securities AIFC, a subsidiary of Bitfinex and the first regulated global digital asset issuance and trading platform licensed in the AIFC.

Ms. Campbell-Holt has fifteen years of experience in business and investment infrastructure development at international financial centres in emerging economies including Kazakhstan and Qatar. She has advised on the formulation and implementation of strategy for the creation of financial centres, and investment solutions and market insights to design bespoke solutions for institutional investors, family offices and strategic investors. In 2017, she joined the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) and held several roles for over five years across various AIFC Bodies advising on business infrastructure development, strategy, investment solutions and sustainability. Prior to this, she worked for ten years in Qatar including at the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Regulatory Authority. She has an MBA from Edinburgh Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from India. She is currently pursuing a Master of Studies in Social Innovation at the University of Cambridge in the UK.
