Timur Turlov is a Kazakhstani entrepreneur and financier, Chief Executive Officer of Freedom Holding Corp., with a market capitalization of over $5 billion.

Timur Turlov comments on financial and economic issues in global business publications, gives lectures and reports at international conferences, and is involved in educational projects on an ongoing basis.

According to Forbes Kazakhstan, he is ranked fifth in the ranking of the Richest Businessmen of Kazakhstan (2024) and the Most Influential Business Leaders of the Country (2023).

One of the important areas of T. Turlov’s activity is supporting Kazakhstani startups and young entrepreneurs in the IT sector. He is the largest investor in digital projects of Kazakhstan: Sergek Group, Chocofamily Holding, Naimi.kz, Relog, Cerebra, Citix, EasyTap, UpravDom, MED 365 and others. More than $170 million were invested for these purposes.

T. Turlov is actively involved in public activities. Since January 2023, he has headed the Kazakhstan Chess Federation. In April 2023, the Freedom QJ League aimed at supporting young Kazakhstani football players in all regions of the country was launched.
