Astana Finance Days 2024

Astana Finance Days is an annual financial conference covering the entire Eurasian region. Since 2018, this large-scale event has served as a platform for discussing current financial issues, trends, and opportunities in Kazakhstan and globally, as well as for building business connections. 

The conference annually attracts nearly 3,000 participants from over 70 countries, including government officials, high-ranking dignitaries, skilled financial and economic experts, major investors and business owners, heads of international banks, and leaders of foreign stock markets. 

The large-scale event will address current topics and issues such as Kazakhstan’s macroeconomic future and investment opportunities, the country’s capital markets, the potential for developing the asset management sector, new instruments for sustainable finance, low-carbon development and the growth of the “green economy” in Central Asia, Islamic finance in the private and corporate sectors, jurisdiction, regulation, and dispute resolution within the AIFC framework, regional advancement of the emerging mining market, innovations and trends in the financial industry, and more. 

The conference will also feature the AIFC Participants’ Forum. This forum aims to facilitate constructive dialogue and support among Financial Centre participants. The event provides an opportunity to learn about the activities of AIFC participants, analyze their contributions to the Kazakh economy, and establish business relationships. 

A podcast session will be organized at the forum, where you can learn who the AIFC participants are, what they do, why they choose the AIFC for their business, and what registration and regulatory procedures they undergo within the jurisdiction. Additionally, there will be panel sessions on company registration, post-registration, and licensing issues at the AIFC, along with a Q&A session with current Centre participants. 

We invite financial experts, representatives of government bodies, investors, and business leaders to participate in AFD 2024 to explore investment opportunities, network, and exchange information on the latest financial trends and developments in the region.
